Roadkill on the Information Super Highway

Here are a few links from around the web that I have enjoyed this week.
- Joe Carter provides his thoughts on using the RSS reader as a blog reading tool.
- BPNews provides a Q & A with Chris Stovall, an attorney with the Alliance Defense Fund, about the federal hate crimes bill recently passed by the House of Representatives.
- Albert Mohler writes about a missionary to the American Episcopal Church from Africa.
- A fascinating article on Salon.com about the British historian Alistair Horne titled “Bush’s Favorite Historian.”
- An excellent message by Steve Lawson on Romans 11:33-36 on the topic of “Target Audience” at last year’s Ligonier Ministries’ Pastor’s Conference. Guess who Lawson says our target audience should be?
- A Reuters news story citing a recent study which states that the typical “stay-at-home” mom is worth $138,095.00.
- King Herod’s tomb discovered.
- John Rush reviews James Sire’s new book Why Good Arguments Often Fail.

Steve,
I’ve never met you, but I read your blog periodically. I had the intention of dropping in on your Sunday evening service on my way back from the True Church conference at FBC Muscle Shoals, but it was too late. Maybe next time.
I have enjoyed your blog. Thanks for sharing out of the overflow.
Grace In Christ,
TBH
Travis,
Thanks for the comment. I’m sorry that you weren’t able to stop by!
I looked at your blog and I think I recognize you. Did we meet briefly at the Founder’s Breakfast at last year’s SBC. I was at the table with Scott Lamb and Tim Ellsworth.
We may very well have met. Please forgive me if my mind is a little clouded on everyone that I spoke to at that particular gathering. I think it may have been because of the extensive conversation that I had with Scott Lamb at the end of the meeting. He is such a conversationalist. :-)
I responded to your e-mail, btw.
